What To Put in Your E-portfolio
Your e-portfolio consists of four pages
1. WELCOME PAGE
2. COURSE GOAL STATEMENT PAGE
3. PROJECTS - DEVELOPMENT and PRESENTATION
4. DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION
The Welcome Page of your GDES 120 e-portfolio site is your chance to introduce yourself to your peers and visitors to your site. Your welcome page must be at least five sentences in length. Feel free to include imagery that you have taken or that you feel represents your interests.
The Course Goal Statement is a brief summary of what you hope to get out of this digital art course. We will revisit and update this statement during midterms and once again during finals.
The Project Development and Presentation Page is where you will develop and present your ideas for your current project. Each project will have its own set of questions that will guide your development process.
On this page you will also post JPEG imagery of your projects while they are in development, as well as, when they are completed.
Your Discussion and Reflection page will have two parts. The first part is the Discussion portion. In the Discussion portion you are to post the comments you received from fellow students about your current project after the in-class critique. In the Reflection portion of this page, you are to answer the assigned reflection questions that we will discuss in-class on the day of a project's critique. You will post discussion comments and reflection answers for each of the five projects.
THE CONTENT ON THESE FIVE PAGES IS 20% OF YOUR OVERALL GRADE. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO MAKE POSTS REGULARLY.
